Why stories?
It is easier to explore a character's heart than your own.
Children often find it hard to talk about their own feelings and mistakes. A story gives them safe distance. Through a character, they practise noticing emotions, weighing choices and seeing consequences, and then, gently, they turn the same questions towards themselves.
Every story in the series is an original work written by the Centre and built on The Five Petals Framework™, not a published picture book. Because we write each story ourselves, the character, the dilemmas and the questions are shaped deliberately for character formation. Each story is explored over two sessions, so children have time to think deeply rather than simply listen.

Intentions
Who am I on the inside?
Noticing feelings and the intentions behind what we do.
Choices
How do my decisions shape my actions?
Pausing before acting, and seeing where a choice leads.
Relationships
How do my actions affect others?
Empathy, kindness, and noticing who is left out.
Identity
Who am I becoming?
Strengths, hope, and the character we build over time.
Legacy
What will I leave behind?
Patience, contribution, and doing good that lasts.

My Character Story
Each child presents what they have discovered about themselves. Families are warmly invited to watch.
What makes this different
"Isn't this just another read-aloud?"
We encourage reading aloud at home. But the story your child meets here was written by the Centre and exists only for this series: no one else is reading it aloud, and it was written for exactly this work.
Live dialogue
Every class is built on questions like "What might be happening inside this character that nobody could see?" A child answers, the teacher responds, and their thinking moves. Growth happens in that exchange, not in the listening.
An Islamic lens woven in, not bolted on
The Centre's original stories are explored through sincere intention, awareness of Allah, wisdom and excellence. A story about honesty becomes a lesson about being honest when only Allah sees.
A framework behind every session
Each story sits in a deliberate sequence — Intentions, Choices, Relationships, Identity, Legacy — so children build a vocabulary for their inner world that grows week by week.
Parents are part of it
Weekly family challenges carry the conversation into the car, the dinner table and bedtime. The class shapes the home, not just the hour.
A qualified educator as mentor
Your child is guided by a practising teacher and curriculum designer working in Islamic education, not an algorithm choosing the next video.
Growth you can see
The series ends with each child presenting their own "character story". Parents watch their child put into words what they have learned about themselves.

Abeer Alhaidabi
Abeer is an experienced primary school teacher and curriculum designer working in Islamic education. She believes lasting character begins in the heart before it shows in behaviour, and that children grow most when someone takes the time to ask them good questions.
