The Centre of Character Education is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe education should be within reach of all, and we are continually working to improve the experience of our site.
Our approach
We design our website with accessibility in mind and aim to follow recognised standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). We review our pages regularly and act on the issues we find.
What we do
- use a responsive layout that works on phones, tablets, and computers;
- choose readable text sizes and clear, plain language;
- provide descriptive text for images so they make sense to people using screen readers;
- support keyboard navigation for people who do not use a mouse;
- maintain sufficient colour contrast between text and background.
Known limitations
Some of our resources include third-party content, such as embedded slide decks and PDF documents, which we do not fully control. We do our best to ensure these are accessible, but if you have trouble accessing a particular resource, please let us know and we will help directly.
Feedback and help
If you have difficulty using any part of our website, or if you would like a resource in a different format, please contact us at alhaidabi@centreofcharactereducation.com. We welcome your feedback and will do our best to assist.
Changes to this statement
As we improve our website, we will update this statement to reflect our progress. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last reviewed.
